On Thursday, November 10, 2016, from 12-1:30 pm, JAMS (One Beacon St., Ste. 2210) will be providing advanced mediation training to members of BANG. Jim McGuire, a dispute resolution professional since 1989, will be presenting on the following topics:
- How to get to the right number
- Psychology of mediation - what is the other side thinking?
- Risk analysis and the end game
- How to use a mediator to get your way
- Best practices
This is the second class in a two-part course. (The first class covered topics including when to mediate, the life cycle of a mediation, setting your client's expectations, and the day of mediation. For more information, please reference the materials posted in the Member Resources section of our website.)
Lunch will be provided. Space is guaranteed to the first 24 people who RSVP by replying to this email. After that, admission will be on a rolling basis. (RSVP'ing is also required for security clearance.) This is also open to non-members, so if you know of anyone who might be interested in attending, please let us know!
