From the BBA:
The Boston Bar Association and the Public Interest Leadership Program are proud to present The Boston Bar Association’s Juvenile Restorative Justice Symposium . This educational symposium aims to spread awareness about existing RJ programs, offer an opportunity for those working in the juvenile justice arena to connect with one another, and educate the broader legal community about RJ in the Juvenile Court; including successes and challenges to implementation.
We are deligted to invite BBA Members and the community at large to hear about restorative justice’s practical application in Massachusetts, including in what cases the practice seems to work best and in what cases it is not advisable. Challenges and successes will be examined from the perspectives of the court, prosecution, defense, probation, and police departments.
A closing discussion will be held over lunch, with commentary on the future of restorative justice in Massachusetts, including an overview of current proposals in the legislature.
To register for this symposium, please email Neha Deshpande at email@example.com.
